Club Tours
One of the most important events of any rugby club is the club tour. Traditionally made over the Easter period, it draws the club members into a kind of camaraderie that wives and girlfriends just don't understand. All the things that make rugby the great event that it is, all come together for the club tour.
Friendships are made, links between clubs are forged, international incidents avoided and bucket loads of beer are drunk. It's this last item that Old Actonians have excelled at in last 30 odd years of touring.
What follows is a chronological if brief account of our tours.
The sharp eyed among you will no doubt notice that there is a lack of match pictures and indeed match results, that’s because the games take a less than important role in the life of a Tour. That and the fact that were all too pissed to remember.
